Deedee Crosland – Founder and Creator
Deedee holds 22 years and counting in the intimate apparel industry working with global brands such as; Calvin Klein, Warners, Olga, Lejaby, Paul Frank, Yummie by Heather Thomson, Christine Silk, Simone Perele, Nina Ricci, Bedhead Pajamas, Knixwear, Fortnight. Throughout that time her hats worn were as a – merchandiser, stylist, creative marketer, retailer, buyer , wholesaler, owner of deedeeandco. Deedee’s love and knowledge of lingerie, her passion for storytelling and connecting with people through podcasts and video lead to the creation of The Lingerie Stories. Deedee lives in Toronto, Ontario with her husband and son.
Gillian Marshall – Intern
Gillian is currently in her last year of high school, and is very interested in what the fashion/lingerie industry has in store for her. With only two years of experience working at a Women’s boutique in Muskoka, Gillian is eager to learn the ins and outs of this exciting world. She is passionate about connecting with young women, and creating an open environment where we feel comfortable to share our unique stories. She lives in the city of Toronto, and would like to pursue a career that allows her to travel and experience various aspects of the fashion world.
Amanda Withers – Co- host
Amanda is a regular contributor here at The Lingerie Stories and is known for her humour, honesty, and contagious willingness to try anything we throw at her! When she is not hunting for high end deals on the back racks of all the best lingerie shops in town, she can be found in her home town of Toronto kicking butt at a top Cognitive Software company and playing video games with her two adorable boys.
Amie Heenan – Host of – “Ask Amie”
Following in her mother and grandmother’s footsteps, Amie was raised to believe that a woman’s wardrobe began with a strong foundation. Along with her three sisters, Amie found her way into the Melmira story because she is passionate about taking care of women and helping them feel beautiful and empowered. With more than 25 years in business and being inspired by the conversations of the women that surround her, she has taken a whole new approach to lingerie and swimwear. Amie and her sisters believe in the art of fitting, and believe their store is a place where stories are collected, honored and celebrated!
